Reflector
from the series NUGGET (2019–2026) | 2023 | 32 × 50 cm
Hand-formed media | physical sculpture
The series NUGGET is an ongoing body of work that has been developed since 2019. It is based on the idea that microcosmic and macrocosmic structures reflect one another, that systems mirror internal states, and changes on one level affect the other.
The works are structured through a process of double reflection: a coloured underlying layer is covered by a transparent surface, creating the appearance of a sealed or vacuum-packed object.
